Following the death of Greek singer Giorgos Mazonakis, his music has seen a massive surge in popularity. His presence on the Greek Spotify Top 50 is dominant, with 25 songs appearing in the list, including seven in the Top 10. Globally, he has reached number 35 on the Digital Artist Ranking, surpassing artists like Billie Eilish and Kanye West in certain metrics.

Colleagues and friends have shared numerous tributes. Singer Paola dedicated a performance in Cyprus to him, while Giannis Parios performed ‘Pote Pote’ in Thessaloniki in his honor. Lyricist Giorgos Pavrianos recalled Mazonakis’s generosity, noting a time the singer gave him a sum of one million drachmas to support him. Other public figures, including Marina Tsintikidou and Xeni Chailoudaki, have spoken about his character and personal kindness.
