Paola in talks to replace Giorgos Mazonakis on The Voice

The Greek television station SKAI is in advanced discussions with singer Paola to join the coaching panel of ‘The Voice of Greece’. This move follows the sudden death of Giorgos Mazonakis, who was originally slated to be a coach for the upcoming season.

Production is working under tight deadlines to finalize the lineup before filming begins, with the first session reportedly scheduled for September 22. If the agreement is finalized, Paola will join existing coaches Elena Paparizou, Christos Mastoras, and Panos Mouzourakis.

The selection of Paola carries significant emotional weight, as she maintained a close personal friendship and professional bond with Mazonakis. The premiere of the new season is expected to be dedicated to the memory of Mazonakis, featuring live performances of his greatest hits.
