Paola Randi film on Giulia Cecchettin to premiere at Rome Film Festival

The film ‘Se domani non torno’, directed by Paola Randi, will have its premiere at the 21st Rome Film Festival on October 23. Based on the book ‘Cara Giulia’ written by Gino Cecchettin and Marco Franzoso, the film addresses the case of Giulia Cecchettin, a significant event in recent Italian history.

The narrative follows the Cecchettin family in northeastern Italy and explores how they transformed private grief into a public movement regarding gender violence, education, and collective responsibility. The production is a collaboration between Notorious Pictures, Mediaset, Sky Cinema, and the Fondazione Giulia Cecchettin. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on November 5.
