Paola Silva wins gold in UCI C2 track cycling competition

Uruguayan cyclist Paola Silva won the gold medal in the elimination race at the UCI C2 Cup held in Rafaela, Argentina. The competition, held at the Rafaela velodrome, provided UCI ranking points and served as preparation for the upcoming South American Games.

Silva secured the victory after a final sprint against Chile's Aranza Villalón, who took silver, and Argentina's Ludmila Aguirre, who earned bronze. In addition to her gold medal, Silva placed fourth in the omnium and fifth in the points race.

Other members of the Uruguayan delegation included Sol Mockford, who finished eleventh in the elimination race, and Luciana Wynants, who finished fourteenth. The event also featured participation from Iván Wynants and Santiago Silva.
