The 21st edition of the Italian dance competition ‘Ballando con le Stelle’, hosted by Milly Carlucci, has launched with significant media attention and mixed public reactions regarding its new cast and jury.

New jury member Barbara D’Urso has faced criticism from hosts and participants, including Giancarlo Magalli and Pasquale La Rocca, who described her judgments as ‘predictable’. Meanwhile, contestant Noemi Bocchi, known for her relationship with Francesco Totti, has become a central figure of debate. Bocchi expressed a desire to establish her own identity beyond her public persona, while critics like Fabio Canino have questioned her presence on the show.

Other notable developments include Ornella Muti’s emotional journey on the dance floor alongside Pasquale La Rocca, and the upcoming special appearance by singer Loredana Bertè. The program continues to see high viewership, with the first episode securing a 25.6% share. Additionally, the absence of long-time host Paolo Belli, who is currently managing personal difficulties following a tragic road accident, has been noted by colleagues.
