Paolo Bertolino appointed Director General of Fondazione CRC

The Board of Directors of Fondazione CRC has selected Paolo Bertolino to serve as the organization's new Director General. The appointment follows a selection process designed to ensure transparency and competence, supported by an executive search firm, following the conclusion of former Director General Roberto Giordana’s term.

Bertolino, a lawyer, has served as the Secretary General of Unioncamere Piemonte since 2009, where his responsibilities include managing the Unioncamere Piemonte office in Brussels. His professional background includes serving as an official for the United Nations at the International Labour Organization’s International Training Centre (CIF-OIL) between 2001 and 2009. He also holds several leadership roles, including Vice President of the Fondazione Cavalieri Ottolenghi and President of the Camera Arbitrale del Piemonte.

Giuliana Cirio, Director General of Confindustria Cuneo, expressed support for the appointment, describing Bertolino as a great professional. Cirio had previously been considered a candidate for the position but withdrew, citing political opposition to her candidacy due to her familial connection to the President of the Piedmont Region, Alberto Cirio.
