Paolo Bianco and AC Monza part ways after Serie A promotion

AC Monza and head coach Paolo Bianco have mutually terminated their contract, ending a year‑long collaboration that culminated in the club’s promotion to Serie A. The club issued a statement thanking Bianco for his “commitment and passion” and wishing him success in the future.

The termination follows a tense period in which Monza’s managing director Mauro Baldissoni publicly urged Bianco to resign, noting that a two‑year contract would not be automatically renewed. Reports indicate that Bianco is expected to take over as head coach of Pisa, a Serie B side seeking a return to the top division.

Earlier in the season, sporting director Nicolas Burdisso also departed, leaving the club to rebuild its technical staff ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
