Paolo Chifari appointed sole administrator of Sviluppumbria

Paolo Chifari, a 51-year-old accountant and legal auditor, has been appointed as the new sole administrator of Sviluppumbria. The decision was made unanimously by the company's shareholders' assembly following a proposal by the President of the Umbria Region, Stefania Proietti.

Chifari brings extensive experience in the evaluation and control bodies of public entities, having served with the Municipality of Perugia and the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale Umbria e Marche. He succeeds Luca Ferrucci, who resigned from the position in July, reportedly due to economic considerations regarding the administrator's compensation.

While there had been local speculation regarding the potential appointment of Leonardo Nafissi to the role, the regional leadership opted for Chifari to ensure continuity in the company's operations. Sviluppumbria is primarily controlled by the Umbria Region, with remaining shares held by various provincial and municipal entities.
