Paolo Fiocchi joins Futuro Nazionale as Fiocchi Munizioni distances itself

Lecco city councilor Paolo Fiocchi, the most‑voted candidate of Fratelli d’Italia in the municipality, announced his departure from the party and his entry into the newly formed Futuro Nazionale movement led by Roberto Vannacci. Fiocchi said the move would give him greater freedom to speak and act without “having to calibrate every word”. Vannacci responded on social media, noting “Le armi le avevamo già, ora non ci mancheranno le munizioni”.

In reaction, the historic ammunition manufacturer Fiocchi Munizioni S.p.A., founded in 1876 and now part of the Czechoslovak Group, issued an official statement emphasizing its “full estraneità e indipendenza rispetto alla politica”. The company stressed that Paolo Fiocchi holds no role or relationship with the firm and reiterated its total separation from the political developments surrounding his party switch.
