Paolo Macedonio honored at Sicilian awards ceremony

Actor and voice actor Paolo Macedonio was honored at the ‘Orgoglio Siciliano oltre confine’ awards in Agrigento. During the ceremony, Macedonio delivered a monologue based on Antonio Gramsci’s 1917 text, ‘Odio gli indifferenti’.

In his speech, Macedonio reflected on the importance of community. He noted that while individuals are highly successful at building personal careers, businesses, and relationships, there has been a decline in the ability to build collective social bonds and shared community strength.
