Paolo Nesi wins Little Big Italy culinary challenge in Manila

Paolo Nesi, owner of the restaurant L’Opera, won a culinary competition in Manila featured on the television program ‘Little Big Italy’. Hosted by Francesco Panella, the episode pitted three Italian restaurants operating in the Philippine capital against one another.

Nesi secured the victory through a menu highlighting Maremma traditions, including pappardelle with wild boar and branzino alla livornese. The competition was closely contested, with Nesi’s restaurant finishing at 27 points, narrowly edging out competitors Tavolo and Moderna during the final judging phase.
