Sardinia: Businessman insults locals after 137,000 euro yacht refueling

Paolo Pazzaglia, a 79-year-old businessman from Bologna, has sparked controversy on social media after complaining about fuel prices in Sardinia. While vacationing in the luxury resort of Porto Cervo, Pazzaglia posted on Facebook that refueling his yacht with 50 tonnes of fuel cost him 137,000 euros.

In his post, Pazzaglia directed insults toward the local population, stating, “Sardes de merde, vous devriez avoir honte” (Shitty Sardinians, you should be ashamed), and criticized the region for losing its inhabitants.
