Paolo Piferi, prominent Democratic Party figure, dies in Tarquinia

The town of Tarquinia is mourning the death of Paolo Piferi, a long-standing and prominent figure of the Democratic Party (PD). Piferi was recognized for his extensive political experience and his commitment to the local community.

Annamaria Vinci, secretary of the PD “D. Emanuelli” circle, expressed condolences to Piferi’s wife, Fidalma, and his son, Giuseppe, who is also active in the party's secretariat. Vinci described Piferi as a humble, correct, and helpful individual who maintained an elegant style of discourse even during intense political debates.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held at the Church of San Giovanni. In a tribute, Vinci referenced a passage from Pierluigi Bersani’s book, ‘Chiedimi chi erano i Beatles’, to highlight Piferi’s dedication to political engagement and collective service over personal interests.
