Paolo Rotelli sparks debate over wealth and lifestyle

Paolo Rotelli, an Italian heir known by the pseudonym MC Pao, has drawn significant media attention following provocative comments regarding his wealth and lifestyle. During an appearance on BFMTV, Rotelli defended high-end luxury spending as a contribution to the economy and public finances. He cited an example of spending 200,000 euros at a Parisian restaurant, noting that such an expense generates 40,000 euros in VAT, which he compared to the value of “80 RSA” (social welfare benefits).

Rotelli, who identifies as a libertarian, also appeared as a columnist on the French television program hosted by Cyril Hanouna. During the broadcast, he addressed his personal life, stating that he shares his life with approximately twenty partners. He clarified that these women maintain their own independent lives, activities, and incomes, and that the arrangement is based on mutual freedom.

Beyond his media appearances, Rotelli has gained visibility through charitable contributions, including a 60,000 euro donation to the ZEvent marathon charity event.
