Paolo Ruffini announces new theatre production Il Badante

Actor Paolo Ruffini is launching a new theatrical production titled ‘Il Badante – Quando impari a lasciar andare, qualcosa resta per sempre’. Based on a video podcast format, the show explores themes of aging, memory, and human relationships.

The performance features Ruffini alongside three elderly protagonists who share personal stories regarding love, sexuality, friendship, and societal changes. The production, managed by Vera Produzione, blends monologues, musical interludes by Claudia Campolongo, and direct audience engagement to create an intergenerational dialogue.

This project serves as a thematic successor to Ruffini’s previous work, ‘Il Babysitter’, shifting the focus from childhood to the experiences and reflections of the elderly. The tour is scheduled to begin across Italy on October 8, 2026.
