Paolo Zanarella to perform suspended piano concert in Cirò Marina

Paolo Zanarella, known as ‘Il Pianista Fuori Posto’ (The Out of Place Pianist), will perform a unique musical event titled ‘Suoni sospesi’ in Cirò Marina on August 16, 2026. The performance will take place at 22:00 on the Lungomare Nord, featuring a grand piano suspended in the air.

The event is produced by Piano B in collaboration with the Municipality of Cirò Marina as part of the ‘Mare DiVino’ program. Admission to the show is free.

Zanarella, a former industrial entrepreneur, patented a mechanical system in 2009 that allows him to autonomously transport and position a grand piano in unconventional locations, including mountain peaks and high altitudes using cranes. His performances have previously gained international media attention from outlets such as the New York Times and Le Monde.
