Paolo Zangrillo criticizes Vannacci over lack of political vision

Italian Minister of Public Administration Paolo Zangrillo has criticized Vannacci, leader of the extreme right party Futuro nazionale, for a perceived lack of concrete political ideas. Speaking at the Cernobbio Forum, Zangrillo stated that while Vannacci has engaged in significant propaganda, he has yet to present a clear vision for the development of Italy.

Zangrillo expressed admiration for historical figures such as General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, contrasting them with the current political discourse. He also voiced support for Mario Monti’s recent calls for Vannacci to take a clearer position regarding the country’s history.

Addressing comments from Matteo Renzi, who suggested Vannacci could cause the center-right to lose elections, Zangrillo countered that Vannacci actually appears to be acting as an ally to the center-left rather than the center-right.
