Papageorgiou Hospital and Athens LifeTech Park partner for clinical research

Papageorgiou General Hospital and Athens LifeTech Park have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to advance clinical and biomedical research in Greece. The partnership aims to facilitate more clinical studies, bioequivalence research, and the development of innovative pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.

The collaboration leverages the hospital’s extensive experience in clinical research—specifically through its Clinical Research Unit, which conducts Phase I, bioequivalence, and therapeutic equivalence studies—alongside the advanced laboratory infrastructure and life sciences expertise of Athens LifeTech Park.

By connecting daily clinical practice with biotechnological and bioanalytical expertise, the initiative seeks to attract new research projects and strengthen Greece’s position within the international clinical and biomedical research landscape.
