Papago Golf Club to host free Community Swing event in Phoenix

Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona, will host a free Community Swing event on Sunday, September 20, from noon to 4 p.m. Presented by Troon, the event is designed to make golf more accessible and inclusive for the local community.

Activities include range sessions, a putting course, complimentary golf lessons, lawn games, and music. The day also marks the 8th birthday of Lou’s Bar & Grill. Four-time Long Drive World Champion Maurice Allen is scheduled to provide swing tips and a long drive demonstration. Additionally, the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks football game will be broadcast on-site.

This gathering is part of Troon’s nationwide Community Swing series, which includes 23 events across the United States aimed at transforming municipal golf courses into community hubs.
