Papantla Mayor Gonzalo Flores Castellanos Attends Feria de Nuestra Señora del Carmen Opening in Veracruz

Papantla mayor Gonzalo Flores Castellanos was invited as guest of honor to the inauguration of the Feria de Nuestra Señora del Carmen 2026 in Gutiérrez Zamora, Veracruz. The ceremony aimed to strengthen intermunicipal ties within the Totonacapan region.

The event featured the coronation of Julia Castillo Trinidad as festival queen, along with other youth and senior representatives, and attracted families from across the state. Flores Castellanos highlighted the Limakxtum principle, which promotes joint cultural participation among neighboring municipalities.
