Papeete hosts Taure’a Days to promote digital literacy among youth

The Taure’a Days event was held in Papeete to raise awareness among youth regarding digital challenges and responsible technology use. Approximately 90 adolescents, aged 16 to 25, participated in interactive workshops and challenges.

Activities included team-based role-playing games using augmented reality, Morse code decoding, and digital puzzles to foster collaboration and social cohesion. Organized by a network of associations and the municipality, the initiative aimed to provide young people with new digital opportunities while addressing risks such as screen addiction and sleep deprivation.
