Papenburg Stadtpark western section to close for festival

The city of Papenburg has announced a partial closure of the western part of its Stadtpark from August 29 to September 9. Access points at Weißenburg and Deverweg will be closed to accommodate the setup and dismantling of the Stadtpark Open Air festival, which runs from September 3 to September 6.

The festival lineup includes a Comedy Night on September 3, performances by Bausa, Yung Saint Paul, and KATI K on September 4, Malle Open Air on September 5, and a concert by Heavysaurus on September 6. While certain entrances are restricted, the playground and other areas of the park remain open to the public.
