Papendrecht hosts Open Culture Day featuring six institutions

The Open Culture Day in Papendrecht took place on Saturday, August 29, 2026, featuring six cultural institutions. Organized by the Cultuurplatform Papendrecht, the event offered workshops, performances, and behind-the-scenes tours.

Participating venues included theater De Willem, the AanZet library, Volksuniversiteit Papendrecht, RTV Papendrecht, ToBe Cultuurcentrum, and the Wilhelmus music association. Activities ranged from dance and music trial lessons to workshops at De Schminkbar. While the event provided diverse engagement opportunities, attendees noted that the three-hour duration was insufficient to visit all locations.
