Paprec leads 52 SUPER SERIES Valencia Sailing Week after opening races

Jean-Luc Petithuguenin’s French team, Paprec, has taken the early lead at the 52 SUPER SERIES Valencia Sailing Week. Following the first two races, Paprec secured the top position with a combined score of 5 (2+3) in a record-sized fleet of 16 boats.

Competing in light to moderate breezes off Malvarrosa Beach, the fleet included participants from 11 different nations. While Paprec led the regatta, the season standings saw Platoon Aviation’s lead narrow to nine points after conceding two points to Sled. Other notable performers included Vayu in second place and Sled in third.

The event marks the grand finale of the season, featuring the largest and most competitive fleet in the circuit's history. Brazilian teams Caballo Loco and Crioula also showed strong form during practice sessions leading up to the main competition.
