Pará announces early 13th-month salary for state employees

The Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, has announced the anticipation of the first installment of the 13th-month salary for state public servants. This measure, now in its eighth consecutive year, aims to provide financial stability for families ahead of the Círio de Nazaré festivities.

The payment, representing 50% of the total benefit, will be distributed on October 1 and 2. It is expected to benefit approximately 162,900 individuals, including active employees, retirees, and pensioners. The total payroll for this first installment is estimated at R$ 685.5 million, which is expected to stimulate the local economy.

The payment schedule is divided into two days: on October 1, military retirees, civil pensioners, military personnel, and civil retirees linked to Seplad will receive their funds. On October 2, payments will be made to servants from other state administration bodies, including the Comptroller General, Vice-Governorship, and the Civil House.
