Pará Government establishes 2026 fiscal year closing deadlines

The Government of Pará has released the official schedule for closing the 2026 fiscal year. Published via Joint Ordinance Sefa/Seplad/CGE nº 001 in the State Official Gazette, the regulation sets deadlines for state public administration bodies to complete budgetary, financial, accounting, and patrimonial procedures.

The schedule includes several key milestones:

• November 4, 2026: Deadline for registering budgetary changes for additional credits. • November 6, 2026: Deadline for registering agreements, contracts, and similar instruments in the Integrated Financial Administration System (Siafe). • December 18, 2026: Final day to issue bank orders, settle or cancel unprocessed unpaid balances from previous years, and transfer specific account balances to the State Single Account. • January 5, 2027: Deadline to conclude December accounting closures, perform bank reconciliations, and register 2026 physical goals for the 2024-2027 Multi-Year Plan (PPA). • January 15, 2027: Deadline for submitting the State Active Debt Statement.

The measures aim to gather the necessary data for the State General Balance and the 2026 Government Accountability Report.
