Pará polls show Helder Barbalho leads Senate race and Hana Ghassan ahead for governor

A Real Big Data poll for the Pará Senate election shows former governor Helder Barbalho (MDB) as the clear front‑runner with 40% of voter intention, far ahead of the next‑closest candidates Éder Mauro (PL) at 16% and Celso Sabino (PDT) at 12%. The survey, based on 1,600 respondents interviewed between 30 July and 3 August, carries a 95% confidence level and a ±2‑point margin of error.

A separate Real Big Data poll for the Pará gubernatorial race places incumbent governor Hana Ghassan (MDB) in first place with 31% support, narrowly ahead of former Ananindeua mayor Daniel Santos (Podemos) at 29%. The same poll records a 73% approval rating for Ghassan’s administration. Ghassan assumed the governorship after Helder Barbalho vacated the post on 2 April to run for the Senate, as required by electoral law.
