Paraíba wind alert: Inmet warns of gusts up to 60 km/h

The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) has issued a yellow alert for windstorms affecting 50 municipalities in Paraíba, Brazil. The warning, which remains valid until 11:59 PM on Wednesday, predicts wind speeds ranging between 40 km/h and 60 km/h.

While the risk of falling tree branches is considered low, authorities have classified the alert as a potential danger. Inmet advises the population to avoid seeking shelter under trees due to the risk of falling branches and electrical discharges. Additionally, residents are recommended to avoid parking vehicles near transmission towers or advertising signs that could be impacted by strong winds.
