Paracambi distributes 50 smartphones to Comunica Jovem students
The second edition of Youth Week in Paracambi concluded with the distribution of 50 mobile phones to students participating in the Comunica Jovem project. This initiative, a partnership between the Paracambi City Hall, the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ) – Paracambi Campus, and the Ministry of Racial Equality, aims to train youth from peripheral areas in social communication and audiovisual skills.
Following a theoretical training period, students will now use the devices for practical application to develop content and new professional skills. The event also featured the first Congress of the Municipal Union of Students of Paracambi (Comunep), facilitating dialogue between students and public officials regarding youth policies.
Other activities during the week included resume-building workshops, rap battles, and presentations of local projects.
