Paradise City and Inspire Resort advance ESG initiatives

Paradise City and Inspire Entertainment Resort are advancing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management initiatives in South Korea.

Paradise City has partnered with AI-based resource circulation company Superbin to launch a ‘Bottle to Bottle’ system. The initiative involves collecting label-free transparent PET bottles from the resort to produce high-quality recycled PET (r-PET) flakes and pellets. These materials will be supplied to domestic beverage manufacturers to be reused in new bottles. The company expects to recycle approximately 9.6 tons of PET annually and plans to redistribute compensation from the recycling process to partners through incentives like vouchers to foster a sustainable supply chain.

Separately, Inspire Entertainment Resort is working on its ‘Sound Beyond Hearing’ project to improve accessibility for the hearing impaired at live performances. In collaboration with JYP Entertainment and the non-profit Hearcycle, the resort is utilizing ‘Auracast’ technology. This system allows concert audio to be transmitted wirelessly to hearing aids or cochlear implants, providing clearer sound for attendees. The project includes technical support and the use of skyboxes as listening spaces for upcoming performances.
