Paraense Football Federation introduces VAR to Série A3

The Paraense Football Federation (FPF) has introduced Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology to the Série A3 of the Campeonato Paraense for the first time in its history. The debut took place in Castanhal during a match where Tesla defeated Pinheirense 2-0.

The technology is also scheduled for use in Parauapebas for the match between Parauapebas and Gavião Kyikatejê. The technical setup includes five high-definition cameras, tripods, video transmission cables, and intercoms, supported by specialized technical and operational staff.

This implementation is part of a broader modernization effort by the FPF to improve officiating precision and professional training. The federation has been investing in the qualification of referees through lectures and training sessions led by national and international experts.
