Bolivia and Paraguay prepare for FIFA friendly in Washington
The Bolivian and Paraguayan national football teams are finalizing preparations for their upcoming FIFA international friendly in Washington, D.C. The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at Audi Field.
Bolivian coach Óscar Villegas has confirmed goalkeeper Guillermo Viscarra will start, despite the player being without a club since July. Villegas defended the selection, noting Viscarra has been training intensely. Bolivia's upcoming schedule also includes a match against Argentina in Córdoba and a third friendly against Gambia in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, on October 4.
Paraguayan coach Gustavo Alfaro has reached full squad availability following the incorporation of Hugo Adrián Benítez and Alexis Cañete. The team has been conducting tactical and physical training sessions at George Mason University in preparation for the match against Bolivia.
