Paraguay expands international business ties through Italian mission and RIMEL summit

Paraguay is strengthening its international business profile through upcoming commercial missions and summits. On October 19, a delegation of approximately twenty Paraguayan entrepreneurs will participate in a commercial and networking mission in the Umbria region of Italy. This initiative, supported by the Italo-Paraguayan Chamber of Commerce, aims to foster economic ties in the food, gastronomy, and wine sectors. Officials noted that Italian interest in Paraguay is growing due to economic stability, energy availability, and its strategic location within Mercosur.

Additionally, Asunción will host the 3rd RIMEL International Summit from October 22 to 24. The event is expected to gather nearly 300 business leaders and professionals from nine countries. The summit will focus on the seven pillars of the circular economy, including innovation, sustainability, and technological transformation, to position Paraguay as a strategic hub for regional investment and production.
