Paraguay hosts first national tourism technical camp
The Tatí Yupí Natural Reserve hosted the first National Camp for Technical High Schools in Tourism Services in Paraguay. The initiative was led by the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC) with support from Itaipu Binacional and the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur).
Under the theme “Discover your tourism route,” the program involved students from fifteen different schools across the country in two distinct stages held in September. The activities included lectures, recreational exercises, and dynamics designed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and teach the importance of Paraguay’s natural heritage.
The primary goal of the camp was to allow students to gain direct contact with professionals in the tourism sector, strengthening their professional competencies and institutional relationships within the industry.
