Formosa launches floating cultural stage on Paraguay River
In Formosa, Argentina, a new cultural and tourism initiative called ‘Río Vivo’ has launched on the Paraguay River. The project utilizes the ‘María Fernanda’, a traditional vessel with over 35 years of history, which has been restored to serve as a floating stage and event space.
The vessel will host musical performances, regional gastronomy, and educational activities, including a ‘Floating Classroom’ for school curricula. The project aims to promote the local creative economy by providing a platform for artists, historians, and entrepreneurs while offering family tours and corporate services.
