Paraguay Ministry of Agriculture organizes regional food fairs

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) is organizing a series of agricultural fairs across Asunción, Central, and Cordillera to connect rural producers directly with urban consumers. The initiative aims to provide citizens with fresh, high-quality food at accessible prices.

Scheduled activities include permanent orchid and organic product fairs in San Lorenzo and Itauguá, as well as events in Caacupé. Specific pop-up markets are also planned at the Multiplaza Shopping in Asunción and along the Asunción Costanera. Participating producers represent 40 organizations from various departments, including Central, Ñeembucú, Caaguazú, and others, offering items such as cheese, meats, vegetables, honey, and artisanal goods.
