Paraguay Ministry of Economy presents 2027 national budget

The Paraguayan Ministry of Economy has presented the 2027 General National Budget (PGN 2027) to the National Congress. The proposed budget totals 166.3 trillion Guaraníes (approximately US$ 25.75 billion).

The official economic forecast included in the project anticipates a GDP growth of 4.2%, a nominal GDP of 433.0 trillion Guaraníes, and an inflation rate of 3.5%. Additionally, the plan projects an exchange rate of 6,458 Guaraníes per US dollar and an 8.6% increase in tax collection compared to 2026 estimates.
