Paraguay Ministry of Health distributes medical supplies to sanitary regions
The Paraguayan Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare has distributed significant batches of medicines and medical supplies to various sanitary regions to strengthen the public health network.
In the XI Sanitary Region – Central, a supply valued at G. 1,337 million was delivered to ensure timely patient care. This shipment, managed by the General Directorate of Strategic Health Supply Management, includes vitamins and nutritional supplements for children, analgesics, antipyretics, antibiotics, and antiallergics. The provision also covers specialized supplies for HIV treatment through PRONASIDA, as well as medications for hypertension and diabetes.
Additionally, the Sixth Sanitary Region delivered a batch of essential medicines to the Abaí Health Center and Family Health Units (USF) in the Caazapá department. This initiative aims to improve response capacity and ensure continuous treatment for local residents by providing necessary supplies to district health establishments.
