Paraguay receives UAE aid for flood victims

The United Arab Emirates has donated 289 tons of supplies to assist Paraguayan families affected by recent floods and hailstorms. The aid, consisting of approximately 15 truckloads of food, medicine, and household items, is entirely of Paraguayan manufacture.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Marco Riquelme and SEN head Arsenio Zárate received the donation, noting that the use of domestic products demonstrates the country’s industrial capacity to respond to emergencies. Zárate confirmed that state assistance will continue for displaced persons until they are able to return to their homes.
