Paraguay tech sector sees digital growth and logistics expansion

Paraguayan companies are showing increased readiness to invest in digital transformation to overcome operational limitations such as manual processes, disconnected data, and administrative costs. Dennis Herszkowicz, president of TOTVS, notes that technology is shifting from a competitive advantage to an operational necessity, particularly in sectors like agribusiness, livestock, and manufacturing where it can reduce waste and downtime.

In the retail sector, digital solutions are enabling better inventory management and integrated sales channels. For small and medium enterprises, scalable technology helps professionalize management, while large corporations use it for process standardization and real-time consumer analytics.

In a related development for the local tech sector, Pargos Tech has inaugurated a new distribution center to strengthen its logistics and operational capacity. Founded in 2015, the company specializes in laboratory equipment, measurement instruments, robotics, and educational technology. Director Marcel Burgos Gorostiaga stated that this new infrastructure marks a significant milestone in the company’s 11-year history, aimed at meeting growing demand in the industrial and educational sectors.
