Paraguayan striker Adrián Alcaraz signs with Mexican club Pachuca

Paraguayan forward Adrián Alcaraz, 26, 1.86 m tall and a former champion with Olimpia, was announced as a new signing for Mexican side Pachuca ahead of the Apertura 2026 tournament. Coach Benjamin Mora said, “Adrián is a strong, solid striker with very good presence in the area,” adding that his arrival allows the team to contemplate playing with two true number‑nines.

Alcaraz, who had previously been linked with Argentine club Lanús and began transfer talks before the World Cup, expressed enthusiasm for the move, describing it as “a great opportunity for my career.” He will join a Pachuca attack that already includes Venezuelan Salomón Rondón and Dutch forward Oussama Idrissi, with the club set to debut against Pumas UNAM in the first round of the Apertura.
