Paraguayan technicians complete manufacturing training in South Korea
Ten Paraguayan technicians have completed a specialized training program in South Korea focused on manufacturing, automotive parts production, and die and mold making (matricería). This marks the fourth cohort of professionals trained under a bilateral agreement aimed at boosting Paraguay’s industrial capabilities in the automotive and electromobility sectors.
The 450-hour program, which spanned four months, included theoretical instruction and intensive practical training in CAD mold design and CNC machining. The training was conducted in collaboration with the Korean Die & Mold Industry Association (KODMIC) and the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH).
Paraguayan officials, including Vice Minister of Industry Javier Viveros, emphasized that this initiative is part of the implementation of the TASK Paraguay Auto Parts Center. The program involves cooperation between Itaipu Binacional, the Itaipu Technological Park (PTI), and various South Korean institutions to foster industrial development and technical expertise within Paraguay.
