Latin American authorities seize drugs, arrest dozens in June

In Tulum, Mexico, three men were detained after agents recovered marijuana, cocaine, crystal, ecstasy, synthetic pills and phones during coordinated raids.

In the Dominican Republic, the National Drug Control Directorate intercepted a narco‑boat carrying 1,743 packages of presumed marijuana and 13 packages of cocaine off the coast of Peravia, and seized five packages of cocaine at Las Américas International Airport, leading to the arrest of 13 people.

Argentina saw a series of anti‑narco operations. In Córdoba, police dismantled 11 drug bunkers, confiscating 499 cocaine doses, 63 cannabis doses, large cash sums and a firearm. In Paso de los Libres, six suspects were arrested and more than 60 g of cocaine and 1,859 g of marijuana were seized, together with cash, phones and weapons. In Villa Chacabuco, a 46‑year‑old woman was arrested with cocaine, cash and equipment for drug packaging.

Mexican state police in Tamaulipas seized three packages of marijuana weighing about 9.7 kg, three radios and fifteen tire‑puncture devices after a vehicle was abandoned during a rural patrol.

Ecuador’s Quito police operation "Apolo 29" detained 43 people, confiscated cocaine, marijuana, firearms and a large cache of illegal tobacco products.
