Parallax Films acquires global sales for short film ‘Aman’
Parallax Films has secured international sales rights for ‘Aman,’ a 16-minute short film written and directed by Rahul Roye. The film follows a trans man who discovers he is pregnant just before his scheduled gender-affirming surgery.
A co-production between the United Kingdom, United States, India, and France, ‘Aman’ is filmed in Hindi and Bengali. The project features executive producers Nikkhil Advani and Dominique Welinski.
The film is scheduled for its world premiere in the Short Cuts competition at the Toronto Film Festival, followed by its European premiere in the competition section of the BFI London Film Festival.
