Paramirim suspends classes following drowning of four children

The municipality of Paramirim, Bahia, suspended all municipal school classes on Monday following a tragedy in which four children drowned in a reservoir in the rural community of Salina Branca on Sunday. The victims, who were students at the Escola Municipal Dalila Meira, have been identified as siblings Jefferson Davi Silva Oliveira (9), Diego Silva Oliveira (6), and José Diogo Silva Oliveira (3), along with their cousin Lorenzo Almeida Cardoso (8).

Bahia Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues expressed his condolences to the families and offered the state government's support to the local administration and the affected community during this period of mourning.
