Paramount+ acquires ‘Cookie Queens’ documentary by Harry and Meghan

Paramount+ has acquired the rights to ‘Cookie Queens’, a documentary produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Archewell Productions. The SXSW Audience Award-winning film is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on January 6, 2027.

Directed by Alysa Nahmias, the documentary examines the high-stakes competition and ambition within the $800 million Girl Scout cookie industry. It follows four young Girl Scouts with varying goals during the 2024 cookie season. Meghan Markle, a former Girl Scout, serves as an executive producer and has described the film as a resonant portrayal of Americana that goes beyond its premise of childhood competition.
