Paramount+ adds free streaming benefits through Walmart+ and Spectrum partnerships
Paramount+ stopped offering a standard free trial for new customers in 2026. To compensate, the service now provides free access through several partner programs. Walmart+ members can select Paramount+ Essential at no extra charge, a benefit valued at about $108 per year. Eligible Spectrum TV customers with qualifying packages also receive Paramount+ Essential without an additional fee, and select T‑Mobile Home Internet plans include the service. Additional discounts are available for students, teachers and military personnel who verify their status, cutting the subscription price by half.
Alongside the new access options, Paramount+ is promoting fresh content for the weekend. New releases include season 3 of the spy‑thriller series “Lioness,” starring Zoe Saldaña and created by Taylor Sheridan; the documentary series “Special Ops: True,” which examines secret U.S. military missions; and the competition show “The Challenge: Cutthroat” season 42, where 24 contestants vie for a $500,000 prize.
