Paramount+ and YouTube Premium roll out low‑cost subscription offers
Paramount+ is offering a Prime Day discount that reduces the cost of its service to $0.99 for the first two months in the United States and to £4 for three months in the United Kingdom. The promotion gives new subscribers ad‑free access to the platform’s library, including live NFL games in the US, and a range of content from MTV, Showtime, Comedy Central and Star Trek.
YouTube Premium announced a price increase to $15.99 for individual plans and $26.99 for family plans starting June 2026, but also provides a free trial that removes ads, enables background playback and offline downloads for both video and YouTube Music. Retail partners such as Best Buy and Google Fi are extending the trial period for new customers, allowing households to assess the service before the price rise takes effect.
