Paramount Announces Cast for 'Possession' Horror Remake

Paramount Pictures is moving forward with a remake of the 1981 supernatural thriller *Possession*. Director Parker Finn, who also wrote the screenplay, will helm the project and co‑produce with Jonathan Fass under their Bad Feeling banner, while Vertigo’s Roy Lee and Andrew Childs also produce.

The announced cast adds Madeline Brewer, Emory Cohen and Nicholas Alexander Chavez to an existing lineup that includes Margaret Qualley, Callum Turner, Paul Dano and Diego Calva. Robert Pattinson joins as a producer, with Marc Bienstock serving as executive producer. The original film follows a woman whose disturbing behavior escalates after she seeks a divorce, leading to a dark, sinister turn.
