Paramount+ Announces July 29 Premiere of Diarra From Detroit Season 2

Paramount+ has set the global debut of the second season of the Detroit‑based mystery comedy *Diarra From Detroit* for Wednesday, July 29, with two episodes released that day and a new episode each Wednesday through September 9. The series, created, written, executive‑produced and starring Diarra Kilpatrick, follows schoolteacher Diarra Brickland as a seemingly simple furniture‑recovery job spirals into a triple‑homicide investigation, a citywide treasure hunt and deeper dives into Detroit’s criminal underworld. Season 2 retains the core cast—including Dominique Perry, Bryan Terrell Clark and Jon Chaffin—and adds an all‑star lineup of guest stars such as Method Man, Morris Chestnut, Amber Riley and others. Executive producers Kilpatrick, Kenya Barris and Miles Orion Feldsott (also showrunner) continue to helm the series, which is produced by BET Studios and Khalabo Ink Society.
